Farewell Paperino’s – hello Caffè Parma

By on August 7, 2015

It’s the end of an era for popular Byres Road restaurant Paperino’s, which will be closing later this month – but transforming into Caffè Parma just up the road in Hyndland.

Stefano Giovanazzi, the founder of family-run Paperino’s, will open his new venture at the Western Tennis Club on Hyndland Road.

Giovanazzi says Caffè Parma will not only continue to offer good value authentic Italian cuisine – but the familiar relaxed atmosphere will be delivered by the friendly Paperino’s staff who will move with the restaurant from its Byres Road location to Hyndland Road.

He said: “Caffè Parma’s menu will reflect my own passion for Italian cuisine and fish, blending locally-sourced ingredients with traditional recipes to create a light, refreshing dining experience that brings something a little different to the West End.”

Caffè Parma will seat 55 and there will also be an additional large outdoor seating area overlooking the tennis courts.
