Crafty Munro’s could be toasting title

By on June 20, 2013

Munro’s is the only Glasgow watering hole to be named among the top 30 in one UK award that showcases some of the best in beer and ales.

The craft beer pub, which opened on Great Western Road in February after a £400,000 refurbishment, features in Shortlist magazine’s Pints and Pistachios Awards.

Formally the Captain’s Rest, near St George’s Cross, Munro’s boasts eight craft and cask taps with six of those regularly changed to feature a variety of special guest ales.

There is a public vote now underway to determine the best in Britain. So to get behind this local bar go to www.shortlist.com/pints – voting is open until July 15.
