BLOW team up with Topshop for free styling event

Topshop are branching out to the West End for the first time in a special partnership with Finnieston salon #BLOW.

With a window installation from next Thursday, Topshop X BLOW will be open to the public to view the collection and receive their free styling session on Saturday, May 23 from 10am-6pm. The event is free and open to everyone with goody bags for the first 50 people attending.

To coincide with the launch of BLOW’s new Braid Bar, just in time for festival season, Topshop will be showcasing wardrobe no brainers, hero pieces and unexpected finishing details with their personal shopper on site.

Topshop Glasgow’s head personal shopper Alice McColm will be overhauling wardrobes and curating fully bespoke shopping edits suited to the trends people love. As a former fashion assistant with Harpers Bazaar she’s built up an impressive portfolio, working with legendary photographer Rankin and Angelina Jolie.

The collaboration with BLOW seems a natural fit. From their viral glitter roots campaign retweeted and shared by Miley Cyrus to being shortlisted for three awards at this year’s inaugural Herald Look Awards – a significant achievement for a salon not even one year old – contemporary style and colour bar BLOW is capturing the headlines.

So customers will be welcome to pop in for a free H2T styling session on Saturday the 23rd with complimentary drinks from Magners cider and desserts from Gusto. Topshop and their Personal Shoppers will be in BLOW from 10am – 6pm offering free personal style advice and complimentary braids from the new Braid Bar.

The event will also feature a competition – Instagram your favourite #TopshopXBlow look for a chance to win £100 voucher to spend with your own Personal Shopper, Blow Dry from BLOW and dinner at Gusto Glasgow. 

BLOW, 1060 Argyle St in Finnieston,  say their aim is to make hairdressing social again, with a bespoke colour and style bar and open door policy and an innovative approach with a bar like set-up where customers are served a refreshing drink or cocktail as they stream the latest fashion shows on their large screen.
